Educating for Eternity

Hi, this is Al Schuessler author of the new book "Own Your Story Before Your Story Owns You." The book is being type set at the present time and should be published in a few weeks. I would like to introduce you to my granddaughter Julie Chamberllin to share a little bit about her creative and innovating mind in online tutoring education. Thanks, Julie, for writing this blog and sharing with my following today.

Hello! I'm Julie Chamberlin and today, I have the privilege of adding to my grandpa's blog. I graduated from Sterling College in 2007 with a degree in elementary education. At Sterling, I also met my wonderful husband, Kyle. From there, I went on to teach for several years. But as time went on, our family expanded and our children Paxton, Taryn, Harper, and Brooks were born. While I still loved teaching, I also had a desire to be home with my children. We began praying about the decision to stay home, and God provided a way for me to be a stay at home mom. But my heart for teaching was still there. Recently, I was able to open a tutoring business called Greater Gains Tutoring, greatergainstutoring.com. Through Outschool.com, I am able to teach online students from grade K-6. The flexibility of tutoring online from home has been a huge blessing as I am able to set my schedule around homeschooling my kids. The Lord has blessed us, and I am truly grateful to be able to use my gift of teaching to support not only my own children, but others as well.
