A Christian should be one of the most thankful persons upon the face of the earth. Just imagine, we experience not only the freedom of living in the United States of America as well as freedom from the bondage of sin. An unthankful individual has not yet experienced the abundant life that Jesus spoke of in John 10:10 "I have come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." Did you know it is God's will to be thankful? Paul writing in I Thessalonians 5:16-18 said, "Rejoice ever more, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. Did you know that God said we should give thanks in everything? It seems almost impossible to give thanks in everything. I believe the way we can do so is through the presence and power of the Holy Spirit living in our inner person. So, what do you say, on this Thanksgiving Day let's be thankful for God's grace, God's love, God's salvation, God's blessings and God's abundant life He promises to give to us. Happy Thanksgiving! Pause a moment and simply say "thank you God for the breath you have given to me! God bless!
